Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most advanced SUVs in India. It has the features ADAS that ensures the safety of the cara and the occupants.Automated Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) are advanced technologies designed to make driving safer and more convenient.
ADAS includes features like lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. These systems are meant to assist drivers, not replace them entirely.
While they can enhance safety when used correctly, relying too heavily on them can lead to complacency and irresponsible behavior behind the wheel.
One such example has been reported across the social media. Irresposible driver left the car on ADAS adaptive cruse control mode and he is resting on the backseat of the car. Adaptive Cruise control is sensor-based safety system that helps a driver to get relaxed on the long journey as it alerts the driver with lane changing, front apraching object and rear collission incliuding blid spot. But the driver has to be attentive with driving.
But in this video driver is carlessly sleeping in the rear seat leaving the car on ADAS Adpative cruise control. This kind of negligence may not only the life of the driver but also of the other cars on the road. This is the worst possible example of misusing the technology.
