Next-Gen Tata Sumo Launching In India! And Tough Competition For The Bolero.
Tata Sumo was one of the iconic SUVs of the last generation. Next-Gen Tata Sumo Launching In India with new styles, designs, and features to impress the Indian car enthusiast. So far Tata has re-launched the Safari a couple of years ago and is now one of the premium SUVs in India. Now they are all set to make a come with Tata Sumo to offer the rough and tough SUV with the best driving experience. So far Tata has not announced it officially but reports have been claimed that the re-launching of Next-Gen Tata Sumo is expected to be in late 2024 or the beginning of 2025.
Next-Gen Tata Sumo Launching In India
Tata is now presently doesn’t have an affordable 7-seater in India. Safari and Harrier both are a premium SUV and are not affordable for everyone. So far Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo have occupied the robust SUV segment and don’t have any other tough rivals in India. Understanding this gap Tata Has decided to launch the affordable 7-seater SUV Tata Sumo with practical features and performance.
Tata Sumo is expected to have the same Kryotec 2.0 L Turbocharged Diesel Engine that has been used in Tata Safari. This engine produces a peak power of around 170 PS.
Speaking about the features New Tata Sumo is expected to have practical features like LED headlamps, power windows, disc brakes, airbags, reverse parking assists, an infotainment system by Harman, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, hill hold control much more.
Overall Tata never compromised with safety and has achieved the best score in the Global NCAP test for all the cars so far and the new Tata Sumo is expected to have the same path. Considering the segment and the budget New Tata Sumo will not be having any ADAS features in the first launch.
The price of the Tata Sumo will be under under 15 lakhs for the top variants.
