Bajaj Auto has made a groundbreaking introduction with the Freedom 125, the world’s first motorcycle powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). This innovative bike promises to deliver impressive fuel savings and environmentally friendly performance. It features both petrol and CNG options, allowing riders to switch between fuel modes with a convenient switch button.

Pricing and Fuel Efficiency
The Freedom 125 is priced between ₹95,000 and ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). One of the most attractive features of this motorcycle is the potential 50 percent reduction in fuel expenses. The bike’s fuel efficiency is rated at an impressive 102 km/kg for CNG and 64 km/l for petrol.
Fuel Capacity and Range
Equipped with a 2-liter petrol tank and a 2 kg CNG tank, the Freedom 125 offers substantial range options. On a full CNG tank, riders can expect to travel up to 200 km, while the petrol tank provides a range of 130 km.
Performance
The Freedom 125 is powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection, delivering a peak power of 9.4 bhp and 9.7 Nm of torque. It achieves a top speed of 90 km/h on CNG and slightly higher at 93 km/h on petrol.
Design and Features
